Pedro - £7million

According to reports from French publication L’Equipe, summarised in English by The Daily Star, PSG are preparing a summer bid for Barcelona’s Pedro despite the winger recently agreeing extended terms at the Nou Camp.

The 27 year-old has done and won it all throughout his tenures with the Catalans and the Spanish national team, namely winning five La Liga titles, three Champions League titles, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship.

But he’s struggled for game-time since the £75million arrival of Luis Suarez last summer, leading many to speculate he’d leave the Nou Camp in the current transfer window. As This Is Futbol revealed in May, Arsenal and Manchester United were both believed to be considering summer bids around the £7million mark.

The Spain winger-forward put speculation to bed last week by signing a new contract until 2019 with the European champions, as reported by The Guardian, which included a £108million release clause.

But that hasn’t deterred PSG’s interest in Pedro, with the Ligue 1 champions remaining confident of a summer transfer. Whether that will convince Arsenal and Man United to follow suit remains to be seen.
