According to reports from The Independent yesterday morning, Chelsea are in ‘advanced talks’ with Monaco regarding a one-year loan for Radamel Falcao, whilst The Telegraph claim the Colombian international wants the deal wrapped up before the Copa America kicks off on June 14th.
Of course, Falcao has just come to the end of probably the worst campaign of his career, managing just four goals in 29 appearances across all competitions during a season-long loan at Manchester United.

Seemingly struggling to cope with the physicality of the Premier League and now 29 years of age, This Is Futbol understandably have doubts over whether the Falcao loan deal will prove to be a shrewd move on Jose Mourinho’s part or a complete disaster.
