Pedro

As This Is Futbol informed you last week, Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool have been preparing summer bids for Barcelona star Pedro, with the winger-forward admitting he’s in a ‘complicated situation’ at the Nou Camp.

Indeed, the Spain international has been part of the Barca tapestry for some time, winning four La Liga titles and two Champions League titles with them – whilst also lifting the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship with La Roja – but he’s struggled for game-time since Luis Suarez’ £75million arrival last summer, this term making only 13 league starts.

With just one year remaining on his current contract, Mirror Football dubbed Arsenal and Liverpool as the 27 year-old’s likeliest suitors last week.

Using Spanish sources, however, The Metro now claim that Pedro has already agreed a summer move to Serie A outfit Inter Milan, where’s he’s keen to work under former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini. The deal will be worth around £12million.

That could force the Premier League outfits to seek alternative targets instead. Liverpool, for example, have been strongly linked with Eredivisie prodigy Memphis Depay, as This Is Futbol revealed on Sunday.
