Paulo Dybala

According to reports from The Daily Mail yesterday evening, Arsenal and Manchester United target Paulo Dybala has poured cold water on a summer move to the Premier League with a series of surprising revelations.

The 21 year-old looks set to enter the summer window as one of Europe’s most sought after strikers after bagging 13 goals and ten assists in 30 Serie A appearances for Palermo this term – earning him comparisons with Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

The young Argentine has been linked to Premier League trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United by The Express, whilst a host of other top European clubs such as PSG have also been mooted as potential suitors over the last few weeks.

Club president Maurizio Zamparini is more than ready to sell. In fact, he claims the forward will be sold by the end of the month – as reported by The Daily Star.

But if Dybala is to move on this summer, recent reports suggest it will be to another Italian club. As reported by The Mail, the Palermo prodigy has admitted he ‘doesn’t speak a word of French or English’, wants to play alongside legendary Juventus playmaker Andrea Pirlo and would love to stay in Serie A.

“I love Italy. This is the country that made me famous and I would love to stay in Serie A,’ he said.

“There are some big teams out there who don’t play in Champions League and I can’t deny that I’d love to play in Europe’s most prestigious competition.

“It’s a lot easier for a striker when you have a playmaker like Pirlo behind you,’ he added. ‘He makes even the most difficult things look easy,” he added.
