According to reports this morning, Chelsea are already planning summer deals for two of their talented youngsters.

The first deal involves the much-maligned Gael Kakuta, best famed for nearly landing the Blues with a two-window transfer ban in 2009 amid accusations he’d been ‘tapped up’ from the FC Lens academy. Big things were expected from him at Stamford Bridge, but he’s gone on to make just 16 first team appearances in the last six years.

Having shown some promise on loan at Rayo Vallecano this season, however, bagging four goals and six assists in 23 La Liga outings, French big-spenders Monaco are prepared to take him off Chelsea’s hands – as reported by The Evening Standard.

Meanwhile, the west Londoners are also planning to loan Patrick Bamford to Aston Villa next season if the Birmingham outfit stay in the Premier League, according to The Telegraph. The 21 year-old has been in lethal form for loan club Middlesbrough this term to net 17 times in 35 appearances – bringing his Football League total to an impressive 43 goals in 95 outings.

He seems more than ready for Premier League level, but This Is Futbol speculate he could return to the Riverside next season if Middlesbrough win promotion to the top flight. They’re currently third in the Championship, just one point off automatic promotion, with only three games remaining.
