Oscar

According to reports from the Daily Mail yesterday evening, Juventus are plotting a summer swoop for Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

The news will divide opinions amongst the Blues support; some view the Brazilian as a bit of a passenger in an otherwise exceptional midfield and attack, whilst others claim he’s dangerously underrated – and in fact, arguably the most well-rounded No.10 in the Premier League.

According to the Mail, scouts from the Turin club were spotted in Paris last week as Selecao beat the French national team 3-1, with Oscar scoring their first of the evening.

Having originally signed for Chelsea in summer 2012 for a cool £25million however, not to mention extending his contract until 2019 last season, it would certainly take a lucrative offer to convince the west London club to sell the 23 year-old.

Despite his tender age, Oscar has already made 148 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 38 goals, in addition to claiming 45 caps for Brazil.
