Paulo DybalaArsenal officials will travel to Palermo next week in an effort to thrash out a deal for Serie A prodigy Paulo Dybala, according to reports from The Metro this morning.

Dubbed ‘the next Sergio Aguero‘ for his shared nationality with the Manchester City striker and similar playing style, the Argentine forward has been in prolific form this season, grabbing twelve goals and seven assists in 27 league appearances, propelling Rosanero to 11th in the Italian top flight after promotion from Serie B last year.

The Independent reported Dybala’s release clause as set at £29.5million last month, but today’s reports claim the Gunners will be spared some loose change should they meet the striker’s new asking price of £28.9million during next week’s rumoured negotiations.

But the north London outfit are hardly the only club with the 21 year-old in their transfer crosshairs. Fellow Premier League sides Manchester United and Liverpool, currently battling the Gunners for Champions League qualification, were both reported to be planning summer bids for Dybala by The Express last week.
