Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been voted as the most hated player in the Premier League, ranking ahead of John Terry and Ashley Cole in a poll run by FootballFanCast.com
Out of over 4,500 votes, 1,942 fans (42%) voted the controversial Uruguayan international as their most loathsome with much debated upon pair John Terry and Ashley Cole trailing behind in second and third places with 1,495 votes (32%) and 420 votes (9%) respectively.
FootballFanCast has been polling 12,000 football fans, picking their brains at what makes a footballer favourable or unfavourable, aiming to reveal a set of respected characteristics amongst supporters.
The set of five individual polls raised by FootballFanCast are hoped to provide a complete profile of modern footballers.
Following a transfer from Dutch football and Ajax in 2011, Suarez has been the subject of diving debacles, racism rows and issues of gamesmanship during his time at Anfield, and despite his amazing technical abilities, the striker has never been too far away from forging the wrong sort of headlines.
Despite the controversy, it must be acknowledged that Suarez has lit up the Premier League with some incredible solo displays and a signature move in which he often rolls the most skilled of Premier League defenders with his tight control.
On the contrary, polls found Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta to be the most likeable player in the top flight with 757 votes (27%) out of over 2500 entries and Mario Balotelli believed to possess the biggest ego with 686 votes (38%) out of over 1,800 submissions.

Haters alway hate on the best , there is far worse players then Suarez , they just don’t have the skills he does, this makes him a target. hating him make it easier for people , this distracts them from te fact he is AWESOME !
Interesting how only 12,000 people where polled…what’s that like 0.1% of all football fans in the UK? Also I bet if the quesiton was asked abroad you’d get a very different result.
