With just three weeks left of this summers transfer window, here are my top signings from Premier League teams so far this summer.

Arsenal: Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski

Estimated at around £33m, Arsenal have bought two top seasoned league and international players, who have a pedigree of the highest  attributes in their leagues. These two players will fit right in to Arsenal’s first XI, although, they are not the young players that Wenger usually goes for, he has finally loosened the purse strings and gone for proven talent, will Arsenal finally challenge for the title for the first time in years?

Aston Villa: Ron Vlaar

A younger Richard Dunne shall we say? With a touch of European class. He captained former club Feyenoord, he had put in a lot of top peformances for the Dutch side, but injuries have plagued the majority of his Feyenoord career, sitting on the sidelines for two of the six years he was at the club. He will fit into new manager Lamberts plans perfectly, aslong as his injury plagued career doesn’t carry on at Villa Park.

Chelsea: Oscar and Eden Hazard

Hazard – the most promising and exciting player in Europe. Oscar – one of the most promising players, alongside Neymar, in South America, has turned to Europe to make his pittance. Well, more millions.

Chelsea have spent a lot this summer, around £80m, and according to Ron Gourlay, it hasn’t stopped yet.

Hazard was Ligue 1’s Player of the Year last season, while Oscar has had a very good Olympics tournament. These two players have confidence in abundance, but will they be able to prove it on the biggest stages, the Premier League and the Champions League?

Fulham: Mladen Petric

One of the signings of the summer by Martin Jol, in my opinion. Obviously a trusted transfer as Petric played the best football of his career under Jol at Hamburg, scoring 38 goals in 98 games, one of them, a stunner against Fulham in the Europa League, the Croatian has tekkers!

Liverpool: Joe Allen

One of the most important signings of the Rodgers will ever make at Liverpool. This is a player that Rodgers has taught and managed, and was instrumental in the tika-taka football that was played at Swansea, £15m may seem steep, but if Liverpool want to adopt Rodgers’ method, then Allen is key.

Manchester United: Shinji Kagawa

One of Bundesliga’s best players for the past two seasons while Borussia Dortmund dominated the league. His record for Dortmund is impeccable for an attacking midfielder

Manchester City:

Er, wait, no, hang on a minute? What’s going on here, Roberto?

Newcastle United: Romain Amalfitano

Amafitano has a big reputation in France, at just the age of 22, Alan Pardew has pulled off a free transfer for one of France’s hottest prospects, time will tell if he puts in some big performances for the Magpies.

Norwich City: Robert Snodgrass

Former Leeds United captain, Robert Snodgrass has finally found his opportunity to play Premier League football, he had waited for Leeds to push up, but with no prevail, Leeds are still a Championship club, for now. Chris Hughton has decided to take a chance on the Scotsman, Snodgrass will be influential if Norwich are to make it a second successive season in the Premier League
