When you think of hard-working footballers, Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn’t someone who would immediately spring to mind. Extremely talented, yes. A workaholic, I’m not so sure. He’s pretty much the Dimitar Berbatov of the continent. Ex-Tottenham and now Manchester United striker Berbatov may not look like he’s putting in the hard yards, but boy he is effective. The same goes for Zlatan, who wowed at crowds previously at Ajax, Juventus, Inter and Barcelona, and is now turning on the style at AC Milan. That is one thing you can say about Ibrahimovic. When it comes to style, there are few footballers that come close to the Swedish striker.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic glides around the football pitch, with the skills to pay the bills and plenty of showboating to boot. When Zlatan’s playing a spectacular goal is never too far away, but he can amaze and disappoint in equal measure at times. A career record of more than 200 goals in less than 500 games is nothing to be sniffed at, though, and at 30 years of age, he still has a few good years in him yet. You never know, if we’re lucky he might just grace the English Premier League in years to come; here’s hoping!

One thing’s for sure, during the 15 years in which he’s played professional football he’s been subjected to plenty of early mornings. Whatever his demeanour might say, his attitude and love of football cannot be questioned. You could even say, that like many football fans up and down the country and across the world, he’s obsessed. Put that obsession together with the style of Zlatan and what have you got? The answer’s a trainer that can stand up to you putting in the hard yards and still have a touch of class about it.

Exclusively at Foot Locker, Nike is releasing the new Air Max Lunar SI. Perfection isn’t an art form, it’s an obsession, which is a philosophy taken on by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is the front man of this latest campaign. Style is at the heart of this, with a black and white colouring to the video, which is incidentally the colour of football shirt that Ibrahimovic wore while he was at Juve! While Zlatan works hard, he undoubtedly plays hard too, and with all those 05:30 starts in the morning you need a bit of time to relax and let your hair down.
