Liverpool’s lack of cutting edge MUST be redressed!

|

Another shocking decision was to take off Dirk Kuyt towards the end and send on Daniel Agger. With Maxi Rodriguez the only attacking alternative, you think this would have been a natural decision, yet Agger was sent on in his place. This sent the message that Liverpool was content with settling for a draw at home against a promoted side!

Many of you silly naïve fans will be all too optimistic and state it’’s far too eary in the season to be making such predictions but I’ve said it before this team won’t be getting a Champions League place come the end of the season. Arrogance aside I usually am right. Simple fact is our squad is still lacking in spite of spending vast sums. Kenny has spent wrongly also, paying the exorbitant fees that he did for the “Geordie trio” as I like to call them. They just won’t cut it for our great club, maybe Henderson will in a few years given time in his more favoured position, which is naturally more centrally orientated. He does not have the legs to beat players on the outside hence his lack of success so far.

As for Andy Carroll, leaving a thirty five million pound player on the bench kind of tells you what the manager thinks. I’m afraid to say he’ll be the biggest blunder of the decade. If you think Liverpool are going to make it to the Champions League, well think again as I see a Europa League spot at best with this squad. I also predict he won’t even reach a minimum target of 18 league goals this year.

Just look at how Raul Meireles is performing in the holding role for Chelsea and how much we miss him. Do you blame him for wanting to leave when you lose your place to an England U21 like Jordan Henderson? Not to mention the fact Kenny stated “I still don’t know his best position”. Why would you buy a player if you didn’t know his best position? Its sheer stupidity and I don’t care if he is considered royalty at Liverpool, if I’m paying vast sums of money to see the club; I’m entitled to my opinion. He is not doing a good enough job on the tactical side of things and his signings have thus far made me yawn, I wonder where we will go from here.

Address any of the points you feel that are wrong and I’ll gladly debate you over them. Stop being a blind fan.
