January looks like a very promising month for Arsenal  fans as news of more players willing to play for the Gunners continues to surface.

Brescia  midfielder Omar El Kaddouri  has recently admitted that he is open to a move to the Premier League after reports linked him with a transfer to the Emirates.

If this is true, Arsenal will have to fend off Serie A duo A.C. Milan and Napoli, who are also rumoured to be interested in the 21-year-old, who moved to the Stadio Mario Rigamonti from Anderlecht in 2008.

The Brussels-born youngster has three years remaining on his current deal with Brescia, but that has not stopped reports linking him with a move away from the Italian club.

Flattered when quizzed on a potential €4 million move to Arsenal, Napoli or Milan, El Kaddouri confessed he would consider any offers but insisted he was still happy at Brescia.

He was quoted on Skysports.com saying:

‘I am flattered by the interest shown by those clubs but it is not official to me yet so I can’t say anything.’

‘I have heard through newspapers, so I am relaxed. I just want to continue to play good for Brescia and once January comes we will all see what will happen.’

When asked about being linked with a January move to Arsenal, the young midfielder said:

‘They play the good football I like and Mr Wenger gives a chance to any young players and likes technical players like me.’

‘Brescia has been good to me and I love this place but once interest is shown by some teams you have to think about it.’

I personally have not seen the young man play, but any player who is so confident of his abilities and believes he’s the kind of player Arsene Wenger  likes is more than welcome at the club, as he seems to have a very good attitude towards the way Arsenal play their football.

He’s currently priced at around €4 million and is viewed as a starlet – definitely the kind of player Wenger likes.

All that’s left now is to see whether this rumour fabricates in January.
