Chelsea could be without Michael Essien for the long-term following his latest knee injury and could be looking for a replacement depending on how long the Ghanaian is expected to be out for.

We have ramires and benayoun that can do the essien role. Chelsea should still be looking for a more creative midfielder and wingers.
