The Football Coffee Break returns. This week Tom Skinner turns his attention to Blackburn, whose exploits in the January transfer window had many scratching their heads. That’s not too different from the situation that arose when Blackburn’s owners decided to replace the seasoned Sam Allardyce with the inexperienced Steve Kean. The major question under assessment here: Do Venky’s have the passion and knowledge to run a football club like Blackburn Rovers? What’s more: do Rovers need a manager who isn’t afraid to stand-up to its owners?
