As of yet, no details have emerged regarding the identity of this prodigous younger, but, this lad really is quite something. Maybe he’s even Premier League quality – Arsenal, Manchester United – are you watching? I don’t know much about him, accept that he’s been labelled the ‘Japanese Messi’ (because of his excellent close control) and that he looks about 5 or 6. Considering his age, the ability he displays in this video is astonishing – he is clearly a natural talent. This doesn’t look like a kid who will come and go – this looks like a kid with a serious amount of potential and the ability to fulfil it.
There are those who might say that his age will catch up with him – but when you’re this good at such a young age, surely the only way is up. I wouldn’t be surprised if some years down the line, the boy attracted serious Premier League attention. If he keeps playing regularly, growing and adding to his game he could be a real star.
In fact, if I were a big club I’d be tempted to buy him now and stick him on when you’re a few goals to good against the likes of Wigan and Stoke – just for a laugh.
