The footage below shows Zinedine Zidane (38-years-old, but not looking a day over 17 in footballing terms) having a kick-around at an Addidas training day. I say a ‘kick-around’, but everybody bar the man himself can only watch in awe as he pulls off some fantastic footwork to leave the keeper flipping and flopping like a fish out of water. Bit harsh to so thoroughly embarrass a keeper like that at a training day, yet if I were the man between the sticks I’d wear it as a badge of honour: “Yeah I was the one who Zinedine Zidane left on his ass”.
Zizou is currently a special advisor to Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid, but I, for one am glad that he is willing to take the time out to showcase his ability to his adoring public.
