The player in question is 21-year-old Palermo foward Javier Pastore, who has quickly garnered a name for himself with his eye-catching displays in Serie A.
Pastore is said to dream of playing alongside his hero and compatriot Lionel Messi at Barcelona. The Catalan giants are thought to have shown some interest in the prodiguous youngster, but given their financial situation are unlikely to bid on the Argentine just yet.
Which could leave Manchester United to profit. Pastore is a tricky, attacking midfielder, who likes to get forward at any available opportunity.
