According to the folks at TalkSport, Tottenham are set to make a move for Croatian starlet Ivan Perisic. The 22 year-old is thought to be rated at about £6m. He currently plays in the midfield for Club Brugge, but his performances have seen those in the know predict that he will soon move onto bigger and better things.
As a youngster, Perisic was labelled by some as the “new Asanovic” a much admired Croatian and Derby County star. He recently participated in the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification rounds for Croatia where he netted two goals.
He’s certainly not goal-shy, as you can see from the video below, which features a bounty of absolute crackers. In fact, Perisic has scored 14 goals in just 25 games this season – now that’s the way to make a name for yourself.
A Brugge source has told reporters: “We are ready to negotiate a move in June.” An exciting prospect no doubt and a player who could add depth to an already strong Spurs midfield.

That first goal is absolutely ridiculous.
Lad looks like a class player and will probably make it to the EPL eventually. Is he ready just yet though?
