Bayern Munich are the latest club to be linked with Moussa Dembele.

According to a report in The Mirror the German giants are looking into a £30m bid for the Celtic striker who scored his 27th goal of the season with a penalty against Motherwell earlier this season.

Dembele has been the subject of constant transfer speculation since a spectacular Champions League double against Manchester City in September.

City were quickly on his trail with Manchester United and Chelsea sniffing around. Although United and Chelsea aren’t in this season’s Champions League that is the main playing criteria for Dembele- and the reason that he joined Celtic last summer.

Gaining playing time and experiencing the Champions League are the goals for Dembele who hasn’t given any hint that he is in a hurry out of Celtic.

With Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller on the Bayern rota it seems unlikely that Bayern would be able to offer Dembele the sort of opportunities that he requires.

Should Dembele decide that it is time to leave Celtic it’s likely that bidding will START at £30m.
