On loan Watford striker M’Baye Niang has revealed that he turned down offers from West Ham and Everton to go to Vicarage Road.

According to a report on talkSPORT the AC Milan striker had the choice of three Premier League clubs to move to before electing for Watford on transfer deadline day.

Niang struggled to get among the goals as the San Siro but with his physical style of play wasn’t short of admirers in England.

Everton have been looking for back up to Romelu Lukaku but with the system that Ronald Koeman plays Niang would mainly be at Goodison as second choice to the Belgian striker.

Watford boss Walter Mazzari lost Odion Ighalo to China during the January transfer window and wanted to bring in a ready made replacement to grab the goals to keep the club clear of the relegation scrap.

As part of the loan deal Watford have the option to sign Niang on a permanent deal for £14m.
