Tottenham sent scouts to watch Youri Tielemans in action for Anderlecht last night.
According to a report in the Daily Mail the midfielder has been strongly recommended to Mauricio Pochettino following impressive reports earlier in the season.
Everton and Manchester United have also been linked to Tielemans who captained Anderlect to a 2-0 over Zenit St Petersburg.
Spurs are quickly establishing a reputation as a club for outstanding talents to develop at the highest level.
Led by Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Pochettino’s side are challenging for three trophies with a team built around youthful players with the best years in front of them.
Anderlecht have developed Tielemans through from their own academy but are expecting him to move on at the end of the season.
With the success of players from the Belgian League in England it looks certain that Tielemans will be appearing in the Premier League next season.
