Dani Alves could be in line for an end of season reunion with Pep Guardiola- if he lowers his wage demands.

According to a report in The Sun the Brazilian could leave Juventus at the end of this season with England his preferred destination.

The Brazilian has eight seasons with Barcelona with the greatest success coming under Guardiola.

Last summer he moved on to Juventus but there have been signs of a strained relationship whereas Guardiola and City Director of Football Txiki Beguiristan are still in regular contact with the defender.

Guardiola is keen to strengthen his defence with Alves capable of going straight in to play at right-back or be a 15-20 games a season back up.

With City’s hopes of lifting the Premier League title virtually over Guardiola is assessing what’s needed in his squad to mount an effective challenge for next season’s Premier League title and also the Champions League with Alves very much part of those plans.
