Everton are keeping tabs on Palermo striker Ilija Nestorovski.

According to a report in The Sun scouts from Everton watched Palermo’s 4-1 defeat from Juventus on Friday night.

Ronald Koeman is anxious to freshen up his squad and also has to take precautions against the possible loss of Romelu Lukaku.

Despite extensive negotiations with the striker and his agent the two parties have still to agree a deal despite a number of positive claims coming from Lukaku’s agent

Nestorovski has scored nine times in 25 matches since moving to Palermo at the start of the season from Inter Zapresic where he scored 20 plus league in each of the last three seasons.

After 25 matches Palermo are third from bottom of Serie A with just 14 points, eight less than fourth bottom Empoli.

Palermo would prefer to hold in to their leading scorers but may get an offer that is difficult to turn down- especially if Everton pick up £60m for Lukaku.
