Manchester City have put a £20m on Joe Hart and are prepared to sell the keeper to another title contender.

According to a report in The Times City will do business in the summer once the England keeper returns from a season long loan with Torino.

Despite City’s problems with Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero manager Pep Guardiola has no intention of recalling Hart.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Hart to solve their goalkeeping problems which can be tracked back to the decision to sell Pepe Reina in 2014.

Chelsea have also been mentioned as potential bidders but that would only happen if Thibaut Courtois was to quit Stamford Bridge.

Hart is under contract until 2019 with any club meeting the asking price also having to fund wages of over £100,000/week.

Torino would love to get Hart on a permanent deal but with the fee and wages involved it’s highly unlikely that the keeper will join a non-English club.
