Chelsea look to Romelu

|

Chelsea are planning a summer move for Romelu Lukaku.

According to a report on Yahoo Sport the Everton striker has been identified as a potential replacement for China bound Diego Costa.

Everton won’t be easy to deal with but manager Ronald Koeman has already spoken about the players ambitions and suggested that he is a future Barcelona striker.

Lukaku has already been on the books of Chelsea but after loan spells with West Brom and Everton they accepted a £29m offer from Roberto Martinez to sell the striker to Goodison.

Having resisted Costa’s attempt to force through a transfer to China in January Chelsea expect that deal to go through in the summer and have drawn up a list of replacements.

At 23 year of age and with five seasons of Premier League experience behind him Antonio Conte has no worries about Lukaku settling in at Stamford Bridge.

Everton will demand a fee in the region of £60m for the Belgian internationalist but with money coming in for Costa and a return to the Champions League looming Chelsea won’t have any problems with that sort of fee.
