Arsenal have stepped up their bid to sign Napoli duo Lorenzo Insigne and Faouzi Ghoulam.
According to a report in The Sun, Arsenal had the pair watched again at the weekend as Napoli lost 2-0 at home to Atalanta.
Insigne is believed to be the Gunners number one summer signing target and valued at £44m with nine goals and six assists to his name this term.
Left-back Ghoulam signed from St Etienne three seasons ago and is rated as one of the best full-backs in Serie A.
With both players under contract until 2019 Arsenal will need to come up with realistic bids to sign either player.
Although there is an element of uncertainty over the future of Arsene Wenger the club is keen to push on by identifying signing targets for next season.
There is uncertainty over what will happen with Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil which will have a big impact on future plans but bringing in either or both players from Napoli will be a big boost for next season.
