AC Milan line up Fabregas deal

AC Milan will offer Cesc Fabregas an escape from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

According to a report in The Daily Star the Italian giants would love to bring the midfielder to the San Siro as they attempt to return to the centre stage of European football bankrolled by wealthy Chinese investors.

Fabregas has found himself reduced to the role of squad player following the arrival of Antonio Conte as manager and N’Golo Kante in central midfield.

Despite falling out of favour at Chelsea the 29-year-old has been the subject of speculation about a move to Real Madrid and China.

Fabregas has ruled out a move to China but could be tempted by a deal to join AC Milan rather than cross the great divide by signing for Real Madrid as a former Barcelona player.

AC Milan have been virtual also rans in Serie A over the last couple of seasons but with over £600m pumped into the club from China they are expected to be major players in the summer transfer window.
