Juventus are keeping tabs on Liverpool’s Emre Can.

According to a report in the Daily Star the Italian giants are prepared to wait until next summer to sign the midfielder once his contract expires.

Can has had an indifferent season at Anfield but has admirers with the Italian champions.

Liverpool paid Bayer Leverkusen £10m for Can in 2014 but he has never quite lived upto expectations.

That hasn’t put Juventus off with the Turin side linked with the midfielder when he was with Leverkusen.

Can will be 24 when his contract expires with Juventus believing that they can get the best out of the midfielder who has been in and out of the Liverpool team this season.

Despite being in the final 18 months of his current deal Liverpool haven’t been in any rush to open negotiations over a new deal.

This season Can has started 13 Premier League matches and made six appearances as a substitute scoring three goals.
