Lallana rejects PSG link

Adam Lallana has ruled out any prospect of moving to Paris St German.

The Liverpool attacker was recently linked with a move to the French champions but has told Sky Sports that he has no intention of quitting Anfield.

The 28-year-old has rediscovered top form under Jurgen Klopp and been a major factor in Liverpool’s title push despite yesterday’s defeat at Bournemouth.

I love it here at the minute, especially since the manager has come in,” Lallana told Sky Sports.

“We have each other’s trust and you don’t always get that at clubs. The thought of leaving Liverpool has never entered my mind.

“It’s a great compliment to be spoken of in the same breath as a club like PSG with those sorts of numbers, but I’m absolutely loving my football at the minute under this boss and I can only see myself being here for the long term.”

Lallana is under contract with Liverpool until 2019 after signing a five year contract following his £25m move from Southampton in 2014.

With wage inflation going through the roof thanks to the new broadcasting deals there has been speculation that Liverpool are ready to open talks about a new contract.

Lallana could expect to at least double his wages by putting pen to paper on a new contract but seems to be prepared to wait for the club to come up with a new offer.
