Carlos Tevez has opened the door to a sensational return to West Ham.

The 32-year-old returned to Boca Juniors from Juventus last summer but hasn’t quite found the homecoming that he anticipated.

According to Sky Sports the offer of a move to China has been given a lukewarm response leaving open the possibility of an emotional return to the east end of London.

Tevez is still worshipped by Hammers fans for his successful one man campaign to avoid relegation in 2007 despite committing the ‘crime’ of moving on to Manchester United.

On Sunday the lifeling Boca fan faces River Plate in the Superclassico but admits that he is unsure of his next move or even whether he will continue to play.

“I’ve got too much of a muddle in my head to think if in February or March I’m going off to play in China,” Tevez was quoted as saying in Sports daily Ole.

During the summer West Ham turned down an offer from Tevez to return to the club in a deal that would have cost £250,000/week.

As the Hammers slip towards the bottom of the Premier League a five month deal for the Argentinian may be more appealing that the other striking options available to Slaven Billic.
