Memphis Depay has been encouraging transfer speculation by releasing social media video clips of his training regime.
The Dutchman has been left out of the Manchester United squad for the trip to Zorya Luhansk following claims that he wasn’t cutting it in training.
Now the Manchester Evening News has published a snapchat video of Depay working out at home to answer the doubters about his fitness.
Depay was a £26m signing from PSV Eindhoven last season but has fallen out of the picture at Old Trafford following the departure of Lois van Gaal.
Now it seems that another Dutchman could reignite his career with Ronald Koeman now shy about talking up Depay.
“He’s a young player with individual qualities, like aggression and efficiency,” the Everton boss said. “I would like him in January. He is a good and interesting player. He has shown that in his early days at Manchester United but more recently it’s been less. He needs to play more games.”
Depay was left out of the squad to play Zorya Luhansk alongwith Morgan Schneiderlin casting further doubt over the future of both men under Jose Mourinho.
It’s understood that there could be upto a dozen players on their way out of Old Trafford next month but the club are unlikely to consider any loan options.
