Arsenal and Real Madrid have both been linked with a £50m deal for Karim Benzema.
According to the Daily Star the French striker has been linked to the London clubs by Don Balon.
Benzema is in his eighth season at Real with the Spanish giants always wary about selling players on at the right moment.
The 28-year-old has regularly been linked with a move to England but has stayed loyal to Real where his place has rarely been under threat.
With the new influx of television money and the race for the Premier League title wide open now might be the time for Real to cash in.
Arsenal’s reliance on Alexis Sanchez and Chelsea’s dependence on Diego Costa adds to the attraction of Benzema although the French internationalist wouldn’t consider leaving Real to be a back up striker.
In eight La Liga starts this season Benzema has scored four goals with four goals from four Champions League appearances.
