Manchester United could be prepared to ditch Anthony Martial as the full extend of his transfer from Monaco becomes clear.

According to The Sun both Real Madrid and Barcelona are keeping tabs on the winger who moved to Old Trafford last summer.

After a blistering start to his career in England things have cooled off although there has been recent flashes of form.

That has been enough to alert the La Liga duo who were aware of Martial as he came through the ranks at Monaco.

Talks to bring Martial to Manchester started at £20m but escalated up to £36m by the time that the transfer was completed with Monaco also in line for a further £20m if the winger hits certain targets.

United are reluctant to take any more of a hit on the deal and would consider selling Martial if they get an offer that suits their needs.

Throwing in a player plus cash swap would allow the fee for Martial to be reduced with Real able to offer James Rodriguez as part of a swap package.
