He’s only been a bit-part player for Arsenal so far this season and now, Valencia and Sevilla have emerged as surprise suitors to land Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, report The Express.

Having revealed he’s thought about achieving game time elsewhere, as claimed himself on Goals on Sunday recently, Spanish source El Gol Digital now claim there’s Spanish interest in the England international.

While the two Spanish giants boast the likes of Samir Nasri and Munir El Haddadi in their ranks, it is claimed both sides are keen on adding to their armoury and Oxlade-Chamberlain is somebody who can play multiple attacking roles.

The true mark of Arsenal’s greater strength in depth so far this season, it speaks volumes of their squad that Oxlade-Chamberlain is struggling for regular game time right now.

With Alex Iwobi having surprised most with his consistency in performances, both he, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott are Arsene Wenger’s first choice picks across the attacking midfield positions at present.

Speaking about Oxlade-Chamberlain’s situation recently, Wenger claimed: “He [Alex] said he would consider the situation at the end of the season. I can understand that.

“But when you buy a player at 17 years of age and you spend a lot of money on him, then you would like him to stay.”
