While there was no getting away from the fact that Tottenham’s 1-1 draw at West Bromwich Albion was disappointing, it is a point that could mean a whole lot more come the final reckoning.

Snatching away a point from The Hawthorns courtesy of Dele Alli’s late leveller, Spurs fans were pleased to take something from the game.

Nevertheless, they’ve been left wondering just what it is about the Baggies with Albion having crushed their Premier League title chance at White Hart Lane last term.

However, Spurs are currently sitting a point behind joint league leaders Manchester City and Arsenal and have been the first Premier League side to inflict defeat on Pep Guardiola’s much fancied Citizens side.
