When Deadline Day passed with only Alberto Moreno on the roster as well as an injured Joe Gomez, Liverpool supporters were particularly alarmed.
Fortunately enough for the Reds, the ever dependant James Milner has made the position his own since reverting from midfield under Jurgen Klopp while others thought this was a disaster waiting to happen.
Despite Milner holding down the left back position rather well so far this term, the feeling amongst Reds supporters is that they’d like another specialist left back brought in for squad depth.
