According to reports from The Sun, Liverpool will launch a £35million swoop for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson and West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell during the summer transfer window.

The Cherries front-man fired Eddie Howe’s side to the top flight last season with 20 Championship strikes and began his debut Premier League campaign in equally strong form, netting five times in his opening seven appearances.

An ACL injury in September ruled out the 24-year-old for the next six months but his early season form has been enough to convince Liverpool that he’s worth a £20million bid during the summer transfer window.

The Reds are also chasing West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell, who has consistently impressed since moving to Upton Park from Ipswich Town at the start of the last season.

It has been suggested Liverpool will look to sign an alternative to resident left-back Alberto Moreno during the coming transfer window and the home-grown No.3 seemingly fits the bill.

The 26-year-old began his career in Liverpool’s academy before moving to nearby Tranmere Rovers in 2005, where he made his senior debut three years later. Jurgen Klopp’s side are hoping to sign him for £15million.
