According to The Express, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the 22-year-old ahead of the coming transfer window, with a summer move seemingly inevitable.

But citing Foot Mercato, the British publication further claim that Tottenham Hotspur are currently leading the race for the Moroccan international’s signature.

In fact, they’re believed to have already offered Boufal a five-year contract, whilst the all-but-mathematical guarantee of Champions League football has seen the prodigious attacker lean towards a White Hart Lane transfer.

The issue of Boufal’s potential transfer fee remains unresolved, but talks between Lille and the north Londoners are said to be in ‘advanced stages’.
