Marc-Andre Ter Stegen

According to reports from Don Balon, Barcelona are determined to keep Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United target Marc-Andre Ter Stegen at the Nou Camp.

The 23-year-old is amongst the most promising young goalkeepers in world football but has grown frustrated with life at the Nou Camp, finding himself reserved almost exclusively for Copa del Rey and Champions League action since sealing a transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach in summer 2014.

In recent weeks, that has seen Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City linked with the German international – with some reports even claiming he’s already agreed to join former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City this summer.

But according to Don Balon, the Catalans remain eager to hold onto the highly-rated 23-year-old, who helped Barcelona clinch the Champions League title during his first season at the club. Their strategy to do so will include an improved contract and the promise of greater game time in the future.
