According to reports from The Daily Mail, Everton want to sign Manchester City defender Martin Demichelis during the summer transfer window.
The experienced centre-back has gone on to register over 104 appearances for the two-time Premier League champions, including 29 across all competitions this season, since signing from Atletico Madrid in 2013.

But the Argentina international is now 35 years of age and his performances have come under criticism this season, especially when lining up alongside equally maligned defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Consequentially, Demichelis is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium on a free transfer when his Etihad contract expires at the end of the season – with recent reports suggesting a return to former club Malaga.
But according to The Daily Mail, Everton are ready to offer the former Bayern Munich man the chance to remain in the Premier League as Roberto Martinez looks to bolster his centre-back options for next season.
However, potential Premier League champions Leicester City are also interested, alongside Spanish club Valencia.
