Marquinhos

According to reports from The Telegraph, PSG are open to negotiating a swap deal with Chelsea and Manchester United for in-demand defender Marquinhos.

The 21-year-old is reportedly unsettled at Parc de Princes, having struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular over countrymen David Luis and Thiago Silva since arriving from Roma in 2013.

Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with the Brazil international for some time and The Telegraph claim both clubs have ‘expressed an interest’ to sign him during the coming transfer window.

PSG are reluctant to sell and will feel under no obligation to this summer, with Marquinhos’ contract not set to expire for another three years.

But The Telegraph claim the Ligue 1 champions would be open to a swap deal for the 6-foot defender’s services, with a number of Chelsea and Manchester United stars in their transfer thoughts.

Indeed, PSG were in the race to sign Memphis Depay last summer and are still keen on the Netherlands international, whilst Chelsea stars Oscar, Diego Costa and Eden Hazard have been linked with moves to the French capital throughout the season.
