According to The Sun, Arsenal star Mezut Ozil has held shock talks over a move to Fenerbahce; whilst The Guardian claim Chelsea are negotiating a deal for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

Rumours of the Gunners No.10 swapping the Premier League for the Turkish top flight first surfaced in September and Ozil has made no secret of his admiration for Fenerbahce, evening describing himself as a Fenerbahce fan last July.

The Sun, citing Hurriyet, claim the 27-year-old midfielder has been holding talks with the Super Lig outfit in recent weeks, believed to be regarding a potential move to the Sukru Saracoglu stadium within the next three years. Curiously, Ozil’s Emirates contract is due to expire in summer 2018.

Meanwhile, The Guardian claim Chelsea are negotiating a deal for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who they’ve been linked with consistently since rumours of Antonio Conte taking the hot seat at Stamford Bridge first surfaced earlier this year.

The incoming Chelsea gaffer is a big fan of the tough-tackling Belgium international but there remains a dispute over valuations. The Blues are hoping to sign Nainngolan for around £20million, but Roma rate him at £8million more – in no small part due to the 27-year-old’s Stadio Olimpico contract not expiring until 2020.
