According to reports from Manchester Evening News, agent Mino Raiola has suggested Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target Zlatan Ibrahimovic wants to play Champions League football next season.

The 6 foot 5 striker – who found the net against Manchester City yesterday evening – has bagged 145 goals in 171 appearances for PSG, including 39 strikes across all competitions this season, but is expected to leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the former Barcelona and AC Milan star in recent weeks, whilst West Ham have also been mooted as shock suitors for the coming transfer window.

But the latest comments from outspoken agent Mino Raiola suggest the 34-year-old will only join a club who can offer him Champions League football next season – casting serious doubts over a potential transfer to fifth-place United, sixth-place West Ham and tenth-place Chelsea.

As quoted by Manchester Evening News, he told French outlet RMC Sport; “Zlatan’s sole priority at this moment is to end the season well. Zlatan knows what he wants to do. He wants to play in the final of the Champions League, and if possible to win it.

“Zlatan is motivated and all clubs who offer him a contract know that. He doesn’t need to continue for financial reasons, he wants to prove himself at the highest level, just as he has the other years when people thought he was too old.”

Recent reports have claimed the enigmatic Sweden international is demanding a staggering £600k per week contract.
