According to reports from The Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion have invited Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham strike target Laurent Depoitre to their training ground ahead of a potential summer transfer.

The Gent frontman measures in at a lofty 6 foot 3 and has been enjoying strong form this season, netting twelve times in 27 league outings whilst also finding the net against Zent St. Petersburg in the group stages of the Champions League.

With his Ghelamco Arena contract set to enter its final twelve months come the summer transfer window, the Belgium international has been attracting heavy Premier League interest of late.

Indeed, scouts from Crystal Palace, Everton, Leicester City, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and West Brom reportedly ran the rule over Depoitre last month – with Spurs believed to be leading the race for his £8million-rated services.

But according to The Daily Mail, the Baggies have now stepped up their interest in the one-cap-one-goal-international and invited him for a tour of their training facility, in a bid to convince him into a Hawthorns transfer.

They’re eyeing Depoitre as a potential replacement for Saido Berahino who, intriguingly enough, has been tipped to complete a long-awaited transfer to White Hart Lane this summer.
