According to reports from BILD, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all targeting FC Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn ahead of the summer transfer window.
German football has produced a number of top-class goalkeepers in recent years – Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Bernd Leno and Manuel Neuer being the obvious examples – and the Koln ace has been tipped to sustain the trend set by the aforementioned trio.
Indeed, the 22-year-old has already picked up 33 caps for his country at youth level and amassed over 130 appearances for the Koln first team, serving as their undisputed No.1 for the last four seasons.

This term, Horn has recorded 63 saves and five clean sheets in 25 league outings for the mid-table side, ranking eighth and twelfth throughout the Bundesliga respectively, and his impressive form has attracted interest from three of the Premier League’s top clubs.
Bild report that Matthias Hamann – brother of former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann, known to have worked as a scout for English clubs throughout the years – attended Koln’s 3-1 defeat to Schalke on Saturday.
That’s hardly concrete evidence but Liverpool have been heavily linked with Horn since Jurgen Klopp took the Anfield reins in October as an ideal replacement for haphazard No.1 Simon Mignolet. His Koln contract includes an incredibly cheap €9million release clause.
However, Arsenal and Manchester United are also reportedly keen on the 6 foot 4 shot-stopper. The Red Devils will have to source a replacement for David De Gea if Real Madrid revive their interest in the Spain international during the summer transfer window, whilst Arsenal need a new deputy to Petr Cech, with David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny both tipped to leave the Emirates.
