Central Midfield - Jordan Henderson

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp could sell Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham target Jordan Henderson during the summer transfer window.

The England international has been a near permanence in the Liverpool starting Xi – barring injury bouts – since the beginning of the 2013/14 campaign and inherited the captain’s armband from club legend Steven Gerrard last summer.

But the 25-year-old has struggled for form since Jurgen Klopp took the managerial reigns from Brendan Rodgers in October and found himself subbed off against Manchester United during last week’s 1-1 draw in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham are both believed to be targeting the industrious midfielder ahead of the coming transfer window, with recent reports claiming the London capital duo are considering rival £25million transfer bids.

And according to The Daily Mail, Henderson now faces an ‘uncertain future’ at Anfield after Klopp refused to rule out a summer sale. As quoted by the British newspaper, he said; “Everything is OK in this moment but nobody in the world, maybe only (Lionel) Messi, is unsellable.”

“There is always a situation. I come from a club where always the best players are picked by other teams and at the end, you have to accept a few things and always need to have a Plan B or C.

“I am pretty sure it is only a rumour (Tottenham) but if not and if a player – let’s not say Hendo but any player – comes to me and says he doesn’t feel comfortable and wants to leave, style of play, more money, then you always have to start thinking. That’s all I can say on this.”
