According to reports from London Evening Standard, Manchester United midfield target Radja Nainggolan is ‘considering’ a £35million transfer to Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The Belgium international’s impressive form for Roma this season, averaging 1.8 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 1.1 created chances and 49 successful passes per match from 28 Serie A outings, is attracting interest from both Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Indeed, Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to sign the 27-year-old if he’s appointed Manchester United boss, whilst Antonio Conte has similar plans for Chelsea. La Liga giants Real Madrid have also been mentioned as potential suitors in recent weeks.
But the west London outfit appear to be taking the initiative in the transfer battle to sign the former Cagliari star, with London Evening Standard claiming they’re preparing a £35million bid for the coming transfer window. The publication further allege that Nainggolan has already discussed the possibility of a Stamford Bridge transfer with close friends.
Curiously, however, the Giallorossi enforcer responded to the story on Twitter last night, posting to his followers; “if I haven’t talked to any clubs, why would I tell that to my friends?” By no means a glowing endorsement, but not the most convincing of denials either.
