According to reports from The Metro, Manchester City and Manchester United have submitted offers to sign Ajax sensation Riechedly Bazoer during the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been dubbed the ‘new Frank Rijkaard’ for his mix of maturity and physicality and has been in impressive form this season, bagging five goals and three assists in 25 Eredivisie outings.

He’s attracting plenty of interest ahead of the summer transfer window. The Metro, who cite French publication Le10Sport, moot Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus as potential suitors, whilst Arsenal have been monitoring the Netherlands international for the best part of three years.
Recent reports have suggested Chelsea are leading the race for Bazoer’s signature. Talks over a £24million transfer were described as ‘advanced‘ last month after brother and agent Irchandley visited the west London club’s Coban training complex.
But according to The Metro, Manchester City and Manchester United have already tabled offers that look set to rival Chelsea’s aforementioned deal. With so many clubs interested, however, it seems the transfer battle for Bazoer is still far from its conclusion.
