The Argentina international has now spent five years in Europe and according to Manchester Evening News, will look to return to South American football once his Old Trafford contract expires in 2019. As quoted by MEN, he unexpectedly told TyCSports; “I miss the club, my family and my friends. I want to return to Estudiantes once I finish my contract in England.”

Meanwhile, The Daily Star claim incoming manager Antonio Conte wants Chelsea to sign Andrea Ranocchia on a free transfer this summer.

The 28-year-old struggled to impact at Inter Milan during the first half of the season and is spending the remainder of the campaign on loan at Sampdoria, where he has averaged 1.4 tackles, 2.9 interceptions, 5.9 clearances and 3 successful aerial duels per match from nine Serie A outings.

But the 6 foot 5 centre-back has worked under Conte for the Italian national team and with his San Siro contract winding down, The Daily Star claim the Azzurri gaffer wants Chelsea to swoop for him during the summer transfer window.
