Antoine Griezmann has been linked with a move to Chelsea continuously over the last few years and it’s not hard to see why.

With or without Jose Mourinho, the Blues still harbour that philosophy of industrious, physical, pragmatic football and the France international has flourished under similar ideals at Atletico Madrid, netting 48 times in 92 appearances since signing for the Vincente Calderon outfit in summer 2014.

Diego Simeone has predominantly deployed the 24-year-old as a centre-forward but he first emerged as a wide man of talismanic proportions at Real Sociedad and often performs the support-striker role for Les Tricolores, so he’d add real versatility and options to the Blues’ attack.

But the Mattress Makers are desperate to hold onto Griezmann to the extent that they’re in talks to raise it to an eye-watering €100million, so the west Londoners need to act quickly.
